I got a copy that said it was Windows MCE2005 but it looks like the normal Windows install, is there a way to make sure before installing? also my friend said he installed it a while back he thought there was a spot you have to tell it to go to CD 2 when it asks for a certian file or cd?

MCE should have 2 CD's, thats how you know its MCE, otherwise it looks exactly like a XP install.
