Ive un-istalled kaspersky from my pc , and didnt let it finish , and now its off my pc anyway . now when i try to re-install , it says that : "for succesful re-instal , restart your computer " i do that , and nothing ! something went trerribly fucked up with the un-install . it got it off my pc , but the cumputer still thinks its there . Ive tried to un-install through : control panle>add/remove software , and theres nothing there . ive also tried to remove anything that has to do with kaspersky from the registry , and nothing helps ! I know my post is long , but please help , im desperate !

You didn't let the uninstall finish? Real smart... Normally it would be reinstall then uninstall but if it keeps crapping out like that... Well format the POS.

If you are lucky, the msi installer initiated a restore point, so try to roll back to that restore point if possible.

tried that too , no restore points at all ...
anyway , thanks for the replays , and if anyone has any other ideas , let me know . . .

what if you delete the register files with regedit? dunno but it worked for me with some games in the past HOODLUM - Definite Supremacy
