Very nice, but you'll prolly need a computer from NASA to be able to play it with that level of details.

yes but when it does come out counter-strike source will be at it's peak and people will look at it and throw it away and re-login into steam and join their favorite counter-strike source server Razz why do you think wolfet isn't THAT popular? Why do you think battlefield only has a handful of servers? both games add a new era of game play but counter-strike is at it's peak everyday so any multiplayer first person shooter game to come out, when counter-strike is still alive, will be worthless Razz it’s true Razz counter-strike is here to stay Crying or Very sad

I can give a fuck about a damn Counter-Strike lol. I tried to get back into CS but I was flooded with 11-13 year olds yelling at eachother with the 'n00bs, nubs and pwnt'. What I need is a good single player first person role playing game using that 2006-Unreal engine. Wink

Look at all the other multiplayer games that people play, the Unreal series is just as strong as the HL series and these people will move to the unreal 3.0 engine when it comes out.

Actually they'll probably say "fuck CS:source it's just a rehash of a shitty 1998 game, lets all play the massively superior Unreal 3!"

I'd love to see that. But then the cs:s junkies would fight back and say UNREAL SUCKS! IT'S USING THE SAME GAMEPLAY OVER AND OVER AT LEAST IN COUNTER STRIKE WE CAN USE TACTICAL THINKING then some guy from rainbow six clan would say WELL RAINBOW SIX DOES THAT AND IT LOOKS BETTER TOO! In 2 years time alot can and WILL change, just compare 2 years ago games with the likes of Doom 3, FarCry, ect

Its true. Computers of today will run it like Doom 3 runs on a 1.8GHZ with A Geforce4 MX 400.

This looks alot more real then Doom 3. That had plastic graphics.Have you seen the trees, they're the best trees ever!

There's nothing revolutionnary on this engine.
It's just the Doom3 engine, with more polygons and sharper textures. I'm sure that by the time this engine is used (and I dounbt it will be in 2006 ... in guess 2008 ) the Doom 3 engine will be pushed to it's max and will do just as good.

LoL, 2008 I don't think so, it'll be out of date then. The engine is already complete, they're just in the process of making the game.

IMO the doom3 engine has some things above this engine as it is. I like the architecture in d3, and also the minted look n feel. OGL at its best. However, the environments in u3 just blow it away seemingly, and the character models, tho they arent as minted as doom3's, are sharper and larger. It'll be an ok game i guess. Either way uit's awesome lookin Razz
