LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Soul singer Isaac Hayes said on Monday he was quitting his job as the voice of the lusty character "Chef" on the satiric cable TV cartoon "South Park," citing the show's "inappropriate ridicule" of religion.

They're big and salty and brown.
If you ever need a quick pick me up
Just stick my balls in your mouth.

Oooh, suck on my chocolate, salty balls.

A volunteer is someone who: (military) a person who freely enlists for service.

whereas: volounteer means: agree freely; "She volunteered to drive the old lady home"; "I offered to help with the dishes but the hostess would not hear of it"

...

http://www.misspelled.com/words/query.cgi?volunteer

Also in my british dictionary from 1985, maybe the americans decided to simplify it?

As about "time to waste", that is a useless argument, seeing how you even bothered to reply.

Well, it ain't in my book.
And I think you quoted that site wrong, volounteer is one of the possible misspellings of the word volunteer, not the other way around.

Quote:
volunteer, offer: agree freely; "She volunteered to drive the old lady home"; "I offered to help with the dishes but the hostess would not hear of it"

...

And I never said I didn't have time to waste, I just don't waste them on talking dirt about people while it's uncalled for.

Yes, yes - you're probably right.

I think I'll chuck this british pocket-dictionary in the trash then.

Thank you for correcting me. (really)

From wiki

Ain't is a contraction originally for "am not", but now typically meaning "is not", "am not", "are not" or "have not". The word is a perennial issue in English usage.

You shouldn't use it in writing yes, but it isn't forbidden and don't tell me you've never heard of it before.

(and before we turn this thread into a lecture on english, let me just say that I make mistakes all the time and am not pretending to be some crappy know-it-all going around correcting people, I only handle fisk's misspelling because he used the same tactics against me in some other thread)

Actually Wiki is more reliable than Encyclopedia Britannica, some research proved it awhile ago.

And since neither of us are mods, I just go ahead and disagree with you on the last.
