I liked Crash because it seems to sum up very aptly the way react towards people of different races even though we may not admit it.

As far as best actress is concerned I think that the Oscars people are so scared of that Judi Dench that they will just hand it over to her. Seriously all she does in all her roles is look very intimidating and thats generally enough for an award of some sort.

Best actor should go to Joaquin even though I haven't seen the movie. He did an excellent job in Gladiator.

All movies deserve it except this piece of crap Crash movie.
[sarcasm]hey folks, dont forget to grab the new Crash Director's Cut Edition on April 4 so they can make even more money...[/sarcasm]

I'd give my vote to Spielbergs Munich Smile

Only seen Munich and Brockeback Mountain. And my guess is that Brockeback is going to win, and it is a good and well made movie in many ways.

See the movie before making statements about how well made it is. And about the gay thing, then you actually see more naked women close up then male

I cannot forget the Crash scene where the Arab shoots the girl with the blank rounds, that scene was so emotive and intense that I only caught my breath when they entered home again and the Arab was standing outside carrying only his gun and his guilt, Crash was amazing and it deserved to win because of that scene alone.

as far as I'm concerned Brokeback Mountain shouldn't win, it was nothing more than a average romantic movie, the only difference was that instead of a hetero story, there was a homosexual one.

Brokeback will probably win, but it doesn't deserve it, Crash should be the winner tonight, it sure deserves it for countless reasons.

Crash sure deserved it.

and the documentary March of the Penguins also won a well deserved oscar

every year the oscares are a very beautifull cerimony, and I'm happy with this years results, but IMO the most beautifull oscar cerimony that I've seen was the one of 2004 when the colossal and amazing Return of the King won those 11 oscares, that was the most beautifull cerimony that I've seen.
