I kinda knew that one was coming after seeing the simpson's thing
Edit: I read the story a while back, after seeing the home decor on Simpson's and a similar Star Trek post, I thought of this guy immediately. He was considering turning the place into a ST museum or something

Nope, dude is already in trouble with his creditors for this house.
His girl left him after he replaced the refrigerator with a warp coil, so he poured the rest of his time and his (and others') resources into completing the place. He then tried to sell it on eBay for some obscene amount, which failed (go figure, people who are devoted enough to want to buy it likely don't have the money), and now he's in deep sh*t because he doesn't have money to cover his debts.
Last thing he would have is another place. |
