Looks cool, but with only deathmatch mode out of the box and doom3 engine which is not the best multiplayer engine dont see this game being big in mp.

IT's an idea of the people behind Duke Nukem(they gave it for development to Human Head), and i read an article about it.. it will be full of teleporters that will rock the gameplay, and it will have flying vehicles.. i don't know much else, but it has to come out this year from what i know

Looking forward to this big time. I liked DOOM 3 and Quake 4. More of that will be just what the doctor ordered. Plus, it will have different game play mechanics and weapons. Flying vehicles will pwn!! Especially in MP! What is the release date?

if you want some more info, head over to www.3drealms.com , they have some cool insider info linked from their main-page to get the PR-campaign rolling i guess
I m really interested to see how the 3rd dimension in the game-play will play out. Could be a killer

What do you mean by 3rd dimension in gameplay?

look at the videos and how the player changes the orientation in the levels and the ceiling can become the new floor and stuff. Reminded me of playing the alien in alien vs. predator

I see what you mean!!! That was very cool! I remember playing the Alien in AVP2 and it was awesome! Were you able to attach yourself to someone's face? How about growing up into an Alien? I was only able to attach myself to someone's face once? Man, that sounds funny! Anyway, when I burst out of that person's chest I was killed immediately They acted like you would expect, all scared and holy shit KILL IT!!! Great idea!

I didn´t like Doom3, but I loved Quake4 to the end. They are very different games IMO. People are talking like they are the same...

I think its pretty cool that the game doesnt just stop when you die, you have to fight in the spiritual realm and once sucessful you continue where you left off.
I really do hope this is a good game, the trailers do look very promising.

And what's the problem ? Prey uses the D3 engine, like Quake4, the best engine for sci-fi-horror games: i love dark corridors, and the monsters are absolutely awesome (HL2 combines and F.E.A.R. soldiers suck !!!!).

This game is being compared to Quake 4 but more fun, sorta. Read on:

This doesn't surprise me at all. I liked Quake 4 so if it is any better than that or the same I will be happy.

DN3D meets Aliens meets the Doom 3 alpha?
This could either be GOTY or Bargain Bin. More likely, the latter.
