i'm trying to play ninja gaiden black, however, at every movie / cutscene i get the "dirty disk error" ... i've burned it twice now... never had problems with games before... what to do ?
Maybe you have a rip and you need to select the right language choice for the movies your DVD contains.
no it's no CD rip.. I can see the movies... but they are very very choppy and after like 30sec i get the error.. thanks for your input though .. it's a DVD5 btw
Are you using - Ninja Gaiden Black DVD9 XBOX-ProjectX ?
If its DVD5 then the release group downsampled/chopped/linked some movies - read their NFo for any instructions ?
Had a similiar locking problem with Panzer Dragoon Orta FINAL PAL Multi XBOX-WAR3X - didn't work with forcing settings to PAL but when I tried - Panzer Dragoon Orta NTSC-CSiSO it worked flawlessly (!)

you're right it is indeed a rip. i was a little confused.. a think of a RIP as a version with no movies/extras whatsoever..
I suppose i've got to try out another version then.
