nice site, too bad they are missing C64, Amiga and a lot of classic PC Games. Its more fun for people who used to play consoles, and the only console i ever had was the atari vcs2600.

The only consoles I ever owned and played were:

NES (had something like 50 games, $50 a pop back then if i recall)
Super Nintendo - Had like 2 games. Never got a chance to play Super Mario World on it Sad
N64 - Had like 2 games , Mario 64 and Goldeneye.

Oh how I envied the lucky fucker next door with a SEGA...good times. Simpler times heh.

It's interesting that this, illegal, usage of copyrighted software is allowed on this otherwise paranoid anti-link site. But I really appreciated the link to these games! =)

yea, i didn't think of that, check out their legal info:

Quote:
Legal Information
We are in the process to legalize the site and the games we propose to play online.
As we are already three arcade and console videogames collectors, we own several games on a variety of platforms.
We want to turn Game-Oldies into a legal and fun community portal to play online games.
We will provide users with as many copies of all the games we own (Games on Demand), just like an internet video game rental place.
The exception is that we are not providing physical copies of the games but rather online emulation of the games.
All games are available only on our servers and we send only portions of data to the client computer memory. No ROMs are actually downloaded or stored on your computer.
We can only provide copies of games we actually own to one user only at a time (if we have two copies of the same game, this would mean two simultaneous users).
To complete our online collection, we can buy new games but this has a cost. Feel free to help us to grow the collection with DONATIONS!

What a bullshit story.

That's like as if nforce would host all the games they've got links to, and claim you could only download them if you had the original. =)

Its just an java applet that loads the .zipped roms. Just like any rom site but the emulation is framed into your browser. Quite dubious indeed, though a great way to play the games if you dont know how to set up an emulator and find the roms.
