This may sound stupid but here it goes.
Besides the fact the locked thread logo is difficult to distract you and actually realise the topic is locked before looking at it, when you browse the topic the post reply button is still there. How about a big locker instead Very Happy
I know when you press the post reply you get the locked thread message but what if I could see it before and don't spend time thinking what to answer.. Rolling Eyes

i'd vote for that, a nice [locked] in front of the thread's title. I understand we have the little green orbs, but what about those poor text-only browsers on tty?

I did. The title now describes what I wanted to say. Ok, its not a big deal I just wanted to give my feedback on something I observed. Rolling Eyes
