The 875 is a great chipset, the best of the "sole" 478 socket supported chipsets, although you can find 915 chipset boards which support 478, these do also require PCI-E graphics in the most and possibly DDR2 depending on the manufacturer. Although I don't have personal experience of the board you pointed out, any 875/915 board made by a decent manufacturer is going to be pretty good. Go with who you trust and keep an eye out for those 2 chipsets!
The 2.8E is a nice chip, but if you have some cash you might want to consider selling it for and getting a 3.4 (even the none extreme could show a performance boost from that chip..).

the asus is a great board for 478 p4's great for overclocking to , also worth considering is the abit ic7 max-3 ( if you can find one) or dfi lanparty 875b both as good as the asus if not better
