Hi,
Still waiting for father crimbo to bring me my PSP so still dunno what firware is on the unit yet.... i was out and decided to treat myself to GTA - LCS. Only problem is that I couldn't see if the game needed firware 2.0 or if it could run on 1.5 ????
I'm hoping to downrade my unit if poss, and would'nt wanna be in a situation of not being able to play ALL the other games..
Can anyone help and advise?

It needs 2.0, you can change from 2.0 back to 1.5, and back and forth, I havnt heard of it bricking anyones PSP yet, assuming you dont get the fake virus.
A small amount of homebrew works on 2.0, its mostly 1.5 though, I dont care to buy GTA because I dont want to deal with all that version switching (I got a downgrader from a reputable site and it turned out to be the bricking virus, so I dont trust any of that stuff now), so I'm sticking with 1.5 myself.

bullshit, you need to update, then downgrade again if you wish to play illegally downloaded isos.
