When the DVD-R releases in a several of a .VOB files and 1 of a .rar? I am new in this stuff...

well I dont know what the .rar is (try extracting it. my guess is it'll be an ifo though)

just open nero with a dvd movie option selected and put the .vob's and ifo's in the video folder. 99 times out of 100 you wont need anything in the audio folder. If you're really stuck just look at http://www.videohelp.com
