Hey, hoping someone could help..

Now I have a new laptop thats wifi ready!! is this laptop wifi compatible with my wireless G stuff ? when I refresh the network list on the new laptop... it can`t see any wireless networks Sad

Well ... it should work fine. Are you sure you've turned the wireless adaptor on? My laptop has a switch on the side ...

make sure the windows zero configuration-service is running.

start/run/services.msc

and if its off, set it to automatic and then enable[or start]

ah great! I`ve installed the intel software and I`m still no further Sad when I click [on] it says `your wireless is still switched off, use your hardware switch to turn it on` Sad I can`t see a switch anywhere..

Oh and I`ve started that service... it was set to automatic.. I started it...
