After playing the car shop mission in SWAT 4 for the 8921731891th time, I can't stand this.
EVERY. FUCKING. TIME. will my squad get wiped out because the AI is retarded. Example: I'm setting up a 2-team entry to a room. I scout the second entry by myself, leaving my squad by the first door. Then I give the blue team a fall in order, and what do the morons do? They open the door to the room I'm about to go into and run to the opposite entry. Result: both of the morons on blue die, one of the reds is injured, and instead of 2 restrained suspects, I have 2 dead suspects. Reload. Repeat. Reboot. Uninstall.

for load out just use flash bangs and CS gas for every squad member and give them all non-lethal shotguns and give yourself an optiwand and a flashbang. As long as you don't rush into a room without checking with the optiwand you'll do fine. If you see enemies send ur squad in (gold dont bother splittin them). Just make sure u cover other exits/exits and make sure no1s sneaking up on u as you get ur optiwand out. With this you should get 95+ every round and without loasing. Its more about patience than skill, like i'm impatient and hate havin to wait for the handcuff animation and the optiwand stuff too. o and btw if ya hold W when the 'loadin' screen is on u can run forwards in the map as soon as its loaded. U cant turn or strafe or owt but it saves a few seconds

yeah optiwand is unmissable, everyone with paintball guns (unless the enemy hes masks, then use shotguns or real guns) and tear gas and those shatterbombs and a stunner
only problem with this is that you will run out of tear gas even if you give your entire team and yourself loads and loads of teargas.

The AI isn't that hard... I can go around with my 1911 and put holes in heads without problem (thanks, CS.) The problem is that the optiwand doesn't see everything, so it's inevitable that I'll either run out of flashbangs and other popgun shit, or I won't see the fucker with my optiwand and he'll end up dancing on the floor. That shit takes away points. And the unauthorized use of deadly force is bullshit. He's got a gun. He's looking at me. I could give a fuck that he's not pointing the gun at me. I'm here to remove his worthless ass, one way or the other. Blam! Jerk. next room. LMB. click. Fuck, who the fuck limited me to 4 clips?! 1 [enter] blam. blam. blam. Lead down.
You could say it's not my type of game, and I'd have to agree, but I like the game. Not many games get me to play again after I've lost 38 times.
Another thing is hostages. They bitch incessantly. oh my god, get me out of here. blam. blam. blam. OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! Get the fuck down, moron! I said, get the fuck down! Oh my god! I've gotta get out of here! I've gotta run! Into the next room full of suspects! Blam. Blam. Blam. Blam. Blam. Blam.
Blam. Blam. "Oh my God!" Blam. Hostage down. *sigh*

well like i said you dont need to gas every room. Just go in pressing f (get down, put ur hands up etc) the chances are the guys will be gassed out and coughing so just wait and if they dont go down a quick shot with the shotgun will sort them out. I find the shotgun the best weapon, I only ran out of bullets on 2 missions but I was still able to immobilize the terrorssts. You can always right click and then deploy > less lethal shotgun and let ur team do it for u.
