When I start the game, the Sierra logo comes up and the sound is there, but then when I'm in the Menu the sound is gone, not even when I start playing the sounds comes back Sad

can it maybe be the Soundcard? It's a Intergrated RealTek from a ABIT IS7 Motherboard

Or the Hardware?

ASUS 6800 GT 128 MB V9999
Pentium 4 2.8 Ghz HT
ABIT IS7 Socket 478
TwinMos PC3200 1024 MB
Game installed on WDC 120 GB 7200 RPM 2MB Chache
DVD/CD/RW
DVD/CD

I Mounted in Daemon Tools V3.47, used SR 7 Stop to hide

OS: Windows XP Pro SP2

Any Other questions just ask, I really want this game to work Crying or Very sad

yea right , integrated crap . try to lower the acceleration and quality in the panel config of windows under sound options . btw , the solution of this kind of problem may be find in official forum , just tell the retards it do that in the demo they will help you . This is one of the thing i prefer to get support from stealed games .

Well, I solved my own little problem, now I am here. I did everything ever written on this problem, no chance. I installed the codec, the newest audigy drivers, dx9.0c, I set the priority for the codecs, I disabled EAX, damn it. Any ideas left?

after 3 hours of gaming only speech and music worked Sadly that codec on the dvd CANNOT be installed on win2003 sblive... hmm maybe the fucker just gotta cool down.

well, i just do hope all this is a problem of the copy protection (although i dont think so), because considerung all the problems everyone has that could be quite embarassing to bring such a bugged project after so much development time damn that lith-fuckers, by the fourth game they should know how to program an engine that hasnt the same problems as the last three ones

fixed, my problem with sound was i had eax console effects enabled within my eax console, when i turned it off it worked like a charm fuck ...

i fixed it just down the sound acceleration to standard acceleration and it will work fine
