If you could pick ten languages you would know fluently which would they be (you have to include your native language as default)?
Mine would be:
1. Swedish (native)
2. English
3. Arabic
4. Spanish
5. French
6. German
7. Chinese
8. Japanese
9. Russian
10. Italian
Runner ups are hindi, portugese and hebrew.
Another thought, do any of you guys (with another native language than english) think in english? I easily do 50% of my thinking in english but i think some of that has to do with my job where i read and translate alot of english as well as the fact that the classes i take in school mostly have english litterature.

chinese is like at least 3 really different languages....
i'd be happy with
english
german
frensh
spanish
japanese
cantonese
mandarine
and fluent latin would be fun i guess

The guy with 10 language remeber me my grandfather , the old retards was always saying he was speaking 10 language , he just know 2 or 3 words .

How the hell can you speak Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian,Italian fluenty??? Not only are they hard to master but Russian and Japanese are so Friggin different from each other...
