This filmclip is from the policemans car-camera and is about 10 minutes long. I wont "spoil your fun" so to speak by telling you whats going to happen.

Do you think what the officer did was right?

My opinion is...

I dunno, I've had several run ins with the police. The cop was for the most part straightforward, but tasing her was a bit much. Tasing is an alternative to shooting someone in a sense. It's control. It was totally unnecessary to tase her. I really didn't see her take a swing, ive watched it a couple times now. He pulled her over for the right reasons, he did everything right, until he tased her. It was unneccesary force imo.

It was funny as shit and bitch got SERVED.

Dont think you need to do that.
I looked around a bit and it's been all around the local news over there, this all happened in may of this year.

Here's a thread about it:

And here's the local paper:

I agree that the use of force seems a bit over the top but she apparently hit the other officer. Even though that hardly justifies tasing she was requested by authoroties to do a number of things that she did not reply to, things most normal people would do right away.

Wow, exact reason I have such a dislike for the police...granted not all cops are crooked, sadistic, egomaniacs, alot are in my experience.

She was being a bitch but thats no reason to tase her at all. I mean, those 2 guys should have been able to physically restrain her and not have to use such extrememeasures...hope he lost his job and spends a lil time in jail...that way all the ppl he's fucked over before get a crack at him...best way to fuck a cop over

I feel absolutely no pity for this bitch. She was speeding. The cop legally pulled her over. She could simply be respectful and either appeal to the officer's mercy or fight the ticket in court. Instead, she gives the cop a major attitude and tells him about how the arrest is unlawful, she'll be contacting her lawyer, ignoring every request and order the cop gives. He warns her before he tazes her...she ignores him, he tazes her rather than physically dragging her out of the car, shows over. All of that crying was just the hope that when she sues the department she'll get a sympathetic (in this case, idiotic) jury that will feel sorry for her and award her a million dollars for being a bitch.

That was a fun video, btw. She had it coming. Twisted Evil

I agree that yeah, she was being a bitch and deserved some kinda slap so to speak, but tasing her? damn....what if she had a heart condition? the cop didnt know and could have killed her...all because him and his buddy were to AFRAID of the broad to physically restrain her. Ok, if it was like a 6'4, 240lbs wonder, then yeah, I'd see the reasoning, but she was a thin black chick and both cops looked rather thick and physically able - in terms of subduing her...

Fuck this... The other day, me and a friend of mine got pulled over for having a philly. A god damn cigar. The officers who stopped us had the audacity to search us based on nothing more than racial profile (not even that, I'm white and never dress "ghetto", although I do have the connections if need be, although my friend is hispanic and was dressed in the above mentioned fashion.) I understand that they are commonly used for smoking trees, but nevertheless legally buying one and walking down the street with it is no reason to search us. Just a power trip, really, as are most of the police encounters I've had the misfortune of experiencing. I've said this once, and I'll say it again:

cops are not gods .. ffs .. don’t be such fucking sheep .. the use of force in that situation was just plain ignorant .. you don’t threaten a person for speeding FFS ..

This is what you get when you give cops guns .. taser ect .. brain turns off gun takes over ..

That woman could have been pregnant .. had a heart condition .. just experiences a bereavement .. the cop came off all you dumb bitch right from the start so she fed him back the attitude she was being served up .. plus he refused to give his badge number .. why because he is doesn’t have to answer to the public .. yes he fucking does .. dick

Only catch is .. he had a gun & a badge so he is the hero .. that is not police work that is roadside bullying in the name of the law ..

Hit him .. with what a rude word .. stop worshiping cops please .. its only making them more dangerous ..

For talking back, 51 in a 35, busted tail light .. windshield .. fuck that’s a caution & a receiver .. fix up the car its not road worthy you will get a sapeiana for speeding in the post .. goodbye mam .. have a nice day

but no going to teach this bitch not to talk back to big ego cop .. wank fucking wank crap

Do we know if her child was in the vehicle .. that child will be fucked up for life after seeing that shit happen to their mother .. even a passing child on looking would be scarred for life .. & for what so that cop could frisk her .. breathalyses her .. what exactly was he trying to prove .. I fucking hate American dick for brain cops ..

the message of that clip is .. fear the police .. do whatever they say & kiss their shoes or your in for it .. Mad

taser or not a gun is a gun it causes fear & makes people freeze in their boots .. she didn’t roll over because she was fucking scared shitless .. she was being attacked for misdemeanors .. fuck get your priorities strait . this is real life not some movie .. its folks accepting crap like this as ok .. that is destroying civil liberty & freedom .. wake up .. cops work for the people .. the people should not want bullyboy cops intimidating & attacking folks ..

that cop was never in any danger .. he was not alone & had no earthly reason to use force .. you think its cool .. funny .. I hope you get a serious reality check & fast .. so you don’t contribute to injustice any more ..

i dont know what the fuzz is all about... she deserved it... she had broken windshield, broken backlight, she was too fast and her license was over... at this point... when you know you are wrong... normally you give in and let it go... put shes just arguing on and on and then CALLS someone while the police wants to arrest her? and chinup so you freeze when you got a gun pointing at you... well... she was talkin quite fluent to her friend when she had the gun in her face... and the cops where in danger... someone who has such a low understanding of the law as she has and someone who disrespects the law as she does is a danger to anyone... so... she could have had a gun... and with the phone she could have called "backup" from her friends if you know what i mean... even here in germany cops get shot during a normal routine check on drivers... would you take the risk?

and all in all... he asked her often enough to put the phone down and step out of the car or get tased... it was her choice... end of story

the police are the keepers of the peace .. keepers of justice .. or should be

the use of force to make a person do what they are told is bullying .. I have had guns pointed @ me & been shot @ .. you have no idea what goes on in situations like that .. your body becomes rigid .. just because you can speak does not mean to say you can move ..

the other officer was on the other side checking to see if she was going for a gun .. her hands were in plain sight .. she got tasered because she did not bow down to his will . bottom line .. if this sort of police work is acceptable to you .. you are asking for a police state where people are subjected to psychological abuse & physical abuse in the name of law & order ..

I could have handled that situation without a weapon or even raising my voice .. because I care about people, understand how upsetting it is to be pulled over .. & have respect for people .. that cop was out of line .. this should show clearly that tasers are going to contribute to discord in society .. if you cant trust the police to behave in a mature way, cant trust the police to calm scared people .. & act in an adult conscientious manner ... you have a society that has no respect for law keepers ..

no respect for law keepers & you have no respect for the law .. situations will only get worse if things like this are accepted as good police work ..

That woman was in no way threatening the police .. she was angry & scared .. its up to the police to keep the peace .. that police work was not keeping the peace that was bullying someone for not being a good little sheep .. the fact that force was used is a clear sign that the police failed to do their job .. they gave the job to the taser to do for them .. like any meathead with a club .

I hope you have to face a situation like that .. so you can see how fucked up .. police mentalities are getting these days ..

i suppose if she ran .. & they shot her that would have been ok too .. you guys need to take a long hard look @ this .. police who cannot do their job without using force are fucking dangerous incompetent bastards ..

I've had an actual, loaded gun pointed at my head twice in my life. You freeze up? Bull. You're as alert and on your toes as ever, because all of the adrenaline your lazy ass has been putting away for that Counter-Strike tournament next eternity, has just been released into your brain in a single dose. It feels like someone just force-fed you 3 gallons of espresso laced with a hearty amount of cocaine. If you believe the threat is real, you don't freeze up. You focus on every little detail, from the vaguest implications of what the person holding the gun is saying to the way he/she is holding the gun, looking for any way to get the gun put away or taken away. Most of the time, you think sharply and comply, because this is the most effective method to that goal. Sometimes you react more violently, if you see that compliance will lead nowhere or if there are other motivations (children, etc.)

It's quite obvious from the video that her reaction was not that of taking the cop's threat seriously. Mistake #1: Never take a police officer's threats as anything but immediate and serious. They WILL shoot you if they get a justified opportunity. She did not comply with his reqests, furthermore she agitated the officer. Mistake #2: Never piss off a cop. They tend to push their rights beyond their allowed limits if you act intimidated by them. They tend to throw their regulations out the window if you piss them off. She also took out a cell phone and tried making a call from it. Mistake #3: Never, never, never, NEVER take ANYTHING out of your pockets or put your hands down unless you have the officer's permission or request to do so.

In short, the way she acted:
- Returned cop's attitude
- Pissed off cop
- Failed to comply with cop's requests
- Did not react seriously to cop's threats
- Got her ass fried.

In short, the way she should have acted:
- Be polite but firm with the cop
- Comply with his requests, but refuse a search on the grounds of the cop having no probable cause
- Comply with the cop, but not let him exceed his rights
- If cop exceeds his rights, continue to comply, stay calm, and fight the mother fucker to the last bone in court.

Result of her choices:
- Arrested for disobedience
- Still got a ticket
- Got fried.

Result of what she should have done:
- Pissed off cop unable to do a thing
- Didn't get searched, not responsible for anything found if searched
- Her ticket gets thrown out at it's very first hearing.

As for those of you laughing at the situation, please remember that tomorrow you might find yourself in a similar situation, and if you laugh this off and ignore my advice, the least you'll have is a ticket and whatever you get for anything found in your car and pockets (which is far more dangerous than the ticket, for some of us.)

why because you don’t have any support for your argument ? The police officer should have suggested she call someone .. to deal with the car .. seeing as she was being taken in .. he should have spoken to the person on the phone himself .. reassuring her & the person on the phone that she was safe (she could have been picking up her children, no call & they would be stuck until somebody figured out what was up).. only a few more minutes of time taken, little more thought & the whole mess could have been cleared up .. but no, big ego cop, expected everyone to do what he says, when he says it because he can hurt you .. he stopped thinking about the whole situation, where he was, what was going on .. he just got arrogant & used force on her ..

violence is the last refuge of the incompetent .. that cop is an incompetent ass .. he made no effort to reassure the woman no effort to empathies & calm the situation .. he just let it escalate & escalate until he used force .. fucking bullshit ..

Practically, you are correct. Principally, you are wrong.

Her actions should have been:

Cop: Please step out of the vehicle, mam
Her: *steps out of vehicle, raises hands, does not move* I do not consent to an illegal search of my person, my vehicle, or my belongings
Cop: Are you hiding something from us? Is there something we should know about?
Her: I refuse to speak without an attorney present
Cop: *writes ticket* Have a good day, mam

If she was correct about the ticket being un-warranted, it would have been tossed out. The cop would most likely not have searched her or the car, unless she had something in plain sight and/or reeked of alcohol and/or drugs. On more than one occasion, I'd avoided a search by the cops when I had something on me I shouldn't have, that I would have probably had to go to court and/or jail for had I been cowed by the cops' authority. Just goes to show you that you can save time and/or yourself just by knowing your rights.

Another thing about rights: Cops have the right to pat you down for weapons. If they feel something which is clearly not a weapon, but they believe is illegal (such as a baggie), they do not have the right to inspect this without a warrant. Worst case, you'll get your tree taken and spend the night in jail. That's a lot better than being meek and ending up doing hard time b/c you didn't know your rights, imo.

You keep talking about liberty all the time. Is anarchy liberty to you?
Should we be alowed to ignore the orders of law enforcment when we disagree?
I'snt law a way of keeping your liberties safe?
The fastest way to lose your liberties is to let ppl violate the laws that a majority of pl have enforced by democracy and not the otherway around!

I would have pepper sprayed the ho to just for whining like a little bitch!

You don’t give a shit about anyone but yourself .. so you cant empathies with what other people are going through .. you can only think about what you would do ..

I am a parent, a husband & I care about social standards .. I imagine that woman made the call to make sure her children were not left in the cold .. let her husband know she was in trouble & would not be able to get to the school on time .. (& she got tasered for being a responsible parent)

Did the cop ask .. why were you speeding .. no .. did he ask are you alright you seem stressed .. no .. did he show any concern for her .. no

Because he was only interested in himself .. not a good mentality for a policeman .. a person who is depended on to look out for the people ..

That woman was fucked over .. because she did not expect to be .. she waited in the vehicle like a good girl when he asked her to .. because she thought she could trust him ..

not so .. any more .. she will not trust the police ever again .. her children will be convinced not to .. & the damage will go on & on .. all because that cop was a self righteous dick head ..

I AM A COP

(by Trooper Mitchell Brown)

Well, Mr. Citizen, it seems you've figured me out. I fit neatly into the
category where you've placed me. I'm stereotyped, standardized,
characterized, classified, grouped, and always typical. Unfortunately, the
reverse is true. I can never figure you out.

From birth, you teach your children that I'm the bogeyman, that you're
shocked when they identify/associate with my traditional enemy ... the
criminal! You accuse me of coddling criminals..until I catch your kids doing
wrong.

You may take an hour for lunch and several coffee breaks each day, but point
me out as a loafer for having one cup. You pride yourself on your manners,
but think nothing of disrupting my meals with your troubles.

You raise Cain with the guy who cuts you off in traffic, but let me catch
you doing the same thing and I'm picking on you. You know all the traffic
laws...but you've never gotten a single ticket you deserve. You shout "FOUL"
if you observe me driving fast to a call, but raise the roof if I take more
than ten seconds to respond to your complaint.

You call it part of my job if someone strikes me, but call it police
brutality if I strike back. You wouldn't think of telling your dentist how
to pull a tooth or your doctor how to take out an appendix, yet you are
always willing to give me pointers on the law. You talk to me in a manner
that would get you a bloody nose from anyone else, but expect me to take it
without batting an eye.

You yell that something's got to be done to fight crime, but you can't be
bothered to get involved. You have no use for me at all, but of course it's
OK if I change a flat for your wife, deliver your child in the back of the
patrol car, or perhaps save your son's life with mouth to mouth breathing,
or work many hours overtime looking for your lost daughter.

So Mr. Citizen, you can stand there on your soapbox and rant and rave about
the way I do my work, calling me every name in the book, but never stop to
think that your property, family, or maybe even your life depends on me or
one of my buddies. Yes, Mr. Citizen, it's me the cop!

The Author of this article was Trooper Mitchell Brown of the Virginia State
Police. He was killed in the line of duty two months after writing the
article.

oh noes! the police didnt act like a social worker! he didnt ask why she drove too fast... maybe when your kid gets hit by a car that was too fast driven by a mother who was setup youll understand why you should obey the law and stay calm in certain situations... but youll surely bash on the police again cause they didnt stop her... and now go agrue with the other ppl who replied to your posts... cause they say the same thing but can explain theirself better than me... or are you afraid cause of that?

The officer showed amazing restraint and deserves a medal.

She was giving her location to an unknown individual who in all probability was going to show up on the scene. This individual was almost certainly going to confront the officer when he arrived. This is a totally unacceptable security situation. She was not just being utterly rude and disrespectful, she was potentially putting the officer's life at risk and he would be an idiot to react differently. She created a situation where he had to gain immediate control of his surroundings or put his own safety at risk and she deserved every volt if not more.

I prefer headlines like "Rude Woman Tazered Less Than She Deserved" to "Officer Killed By Angry Boyfriend During Routine Traffic Stop."

When you cant make it as a hood you become a cop then you can do all the same stuff that hoods do but with the law behind you.
