lol You actually KEEP the boxes? I haven't the room on my shelf for that. Everything is just in jewel cases... Old ones in a rubbermaid tub, newer ones on a shelf. If I kept the boxes I'd need a new room Very Happy

Was desperatly trying to get the damn motion sensor to make the light on the box flicker,but cant see it in the sun Sad

aladrinkelahn are you kidding me?!! If i'm gonna pay for a game that 9 times out of 10 aint worth its money, then hell yeah im gonna keep the boxes, then at least u get pretty artwork to look at and touch erotically if the game itself sucks Razz

Ya bought really old games Very Happy expect hl2...
I bought HL2 too and BF2 and WoW and Far Cry, Panzers 2, DTM Race Driver 2 (because of SF3 Very Happy) and UT 2004 and many other older games like max payne....
But new games with about 5-10hours gametime and a normal multiplayer are not a reason to buy it!

Excuse the shitty quality snapped the pictures with my webcam, believe it or not theres probably the best part of 350 games on display there new and old, the angle on the 1st and 2nd pictures hides rows and rows of games at the back.

The 5th picture is a holdall that contains around 60-70 Dreamcast games and a few of what were the best N64 games. Very Happy

I have a mate that used to throw out all his boxes and just keep the discs Selt, just didn't make sense to me some of the packaging on those old games was brilliant Baldurs Gate 2 cardboard box for example made up to look like an old book, Ultima Ascension which came with the Cloth map and collectors cards (shame about the game) and stuff like Falcon 4.0 which came with the 4 inch thick manual. Quake 1 (The Suffering) and Quake 2 (Quad Damage) in the huge oversized boxes with all the expansions as well.

BTW is this thread going to be proceeded by a "Dark Side" of Nforce thread where everyone takes snaps of the dozen or so spindle tubs that they have under their desks? Razz

You'd think so Baluer but I sold about 40-50 PS2, a couple of Dreamcast and PSOne games recently, threw out a NES, SNES and Amiga simply because the emulators suited my needs and I didn't have storage space and I've gave away alot of stuff.

All of those games are in pristine condition so I have no desire to bin them whilst I have space to store them plus you know yourself when you take stuff in to sell they give you £1 and £2 for games which are often classics. Take stuff like PowerStone 1-2, Resident Evil 4, DOA2, Soul Caliber, Shenmue on Dreamcast in to a games emporium and see how much they offer you. Unless your a crack whore and need to get your funds up for your weekly fix by selling the clothes off your back then no need to get rid of good games. Very Happy

Its a nice collection of gaming history as well.
