Woo, let's hope it's as good as Burnout 3. Very Happy

Pursuit mode sounds fun, glad that's in there. Driving around as cops is always fun.

Well it its in between currently danscott since we all run the games on 222 mhz which put the PSP between PS1 and PS2 though when it gets clocked to the normal 333 mhz then it will become as powerful as the PS2 if not better.

No, because it would burn the battery faster.

Well there are a homebrew program which can launch your games with 333 mhz and that actually boost the FPS quite high... Though like the previous psoter said it drains your battery life and only serves a future purpose Smile

Was thinking of buying it tommorow. Those that played it; is it *really* buyworthy? Can't see much from the trailers. Are the single player or 1 vs 1 modes good? Mostly only get the chance to play with myself (...) or with a friend (although he won't be owning the game so I guess we'll be doing game sharing).

Well, I bought it. At first I thought the racing was a bit too arcade-ish (because I'm used to racers where driving around turns takes skill) but its still addicting and extremely fun. I can recommend it to anyone who loves the Burnout, Destruction Derby, etc series.

I bought it this morning too! Actually I traded it for Metal Gear Acid and Another Code on the DS. Its surprisingly good for a handheld. Load times are annoying tho!

Oh, the sound track is rather crappy though. Even though I rather like punk rock (among others) most songs on it are pure shit. Guess I have to be used to it, its EA after all.

meh, it's good, but it's not as good as it could have been. I find the size of other cars on the road to be too small (might just be a result of it being a portable title).

It's jus tnot quite as much fun as the home console versions. It lasted no more that about 4 plays on my MS.

Back to Hot Shots Golf...

I think its awesome! To recreate this game from the console versions or port it or whatever they did and make it as good as it is impressed me no end! Not sure if playing it on a MS is any different in any way but I have the UMD version which I purchased with my hard earned cash! I disagree with the crappy soundtrack comment. Its way better than the tracks they chose for Burnout Revenge!

I must say I think the AI is brilliant (for a handheld AI!) too. Sometimes it even looks like they work together!

It's a shame they don't have the traffic bumping in this version. Razz

Burnout Revenge just came out as well, it's very hard to play both of them!

In this one I end up trying to bump traffic, and in Revenge I try to dodge them! It gets very confusing, haha.

Pursuit mode is fun though, I don't think Revenge has that. Sad
