Musk is an idiot, but I don’t agree with Wong. Before outrage and offended cultures became prevalent on the Internet, we somehow EncyclopediaDramatica, 4chan, anon and so on, without Nazis rising to power, without the world ending. But Twatters and Redderps just want to sell ads, and if someone posts something cOnTrOvErSiAl, outrage retards lose their minds and advertisers react poorly, thus contributing to the feedback loop.
If Musk buys Twatter and takes it private, he can do whatever he wants, including having the freedoms that once existed (as described in the early posts in the thread you posted).
