no idea, tried it with chrome page inspector > network but all i can get are multiple small .ts parts in the disc cache. no complete file and no direct download link. they work fine with vlc but i doubt you want 100000 parts and put the together.
maybe someone else can help

With some apps I noticed that the site seem to divide the video in to chunks. About 2mb in size. Is this what you are referring to? Because it is only the video in the link that I want.

The chunks are part of HLS. You can use VLC with the manifest file to capture the whole stream.

The Videodownloadhelper extension for FF does it too. Downloads the whole thing in one file.
