On an island of haves and have-nots, teen John B enlists his three best friends to hunt for a legendary treasure linked to his father's disappearance https://www.imdb.com/title/tt10293938/ The first episodes were kinda meh but then it got better. I enjoyed it. Wtf is that synopsis.
Screams tween drama from cw.
IMDb has a better synopsis.

A group of teenagers from the wrong side of the tracks stumble upon a treasure map that unearths a long buried secret.

Still sounds gay, but none of that cw teen drama.
