We Swedes have just gotten the show 'The 4400' on tv here, and I just found out it existed, so i'm currently downloading it. Was wondering what you guys think of it, I missed the airing here in Sweden so I have yet to see anything so don't spoil. I noticed that the first season was only 5 episodes, that kinda made me hum, why only 5 episodes? This brings me to my second question (well, third I guess ), does it feel rushed after seeing only 5 episodes? I know there's going to be a season 2 airing in the US on June 7 (I believe) so I guess that's okey. Anyhow, what do you think of the series?

I watched all 5 two days ago, and I like the show. Season 2 will start 7th june I think !

Watched all 5 eps now, it was really good. I liked x-files aswell though I won't really compare them, 4400 has a different feel to it, I like how it's evolving into this whole division between mankind, two groups of humans kinda.. Well, the makers of the 4400 actually said 'It's the X-Files for the new generation.' So they obviously thought it was comparable.

This is the worst ripoff of "Taken". Everything in the show is TAKEN from Taken, just a little modifyed... 1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34..

The first episode of season2 is airing tonight, it's supposed to be a 2-hour episode.
Though I doubt it'll be anywhere as good as the first season. It'll be missing the mystery over why they disappeared Sad

I like this more then x-files because of the stronger plot development. Though I like x-files aswell.
In my opinion it's just more interesting to watch something with an evolving story, compared to x-files where there's a new setting each time (with the rare developments between mulder and scully). Well, both are great. Just different. Smile

Gonna see episode two now, yay.

Yes, this is why I like it more two, I suppose it makes it harder to randomly start watching it (might be a bit confusing if you don't know the whole backstory) but ultimately it makes it more worth it for those of us who put the time in Razz

nope its not about aliens... one might think it is from seeing the first few episodes from season one but thats not what its about. That is also why its untrue that the show is like Taken (even though it has a few of the same actors from Taken)... its far different in every way.

As for the show the first season left you hanging and the second season is really good so far... I won't spoil anything for people that don't live in the US but lets just say the second season is far better...

you should try watching 24.... pretty good as well

I found the 4400 interesting until you find out the truth about what/who took them. Then, it's like each episode is only about someone with a new ability. I don't like too many shows. I found the only one that is really insteresting is Lost. Season 2 should be starting soon. You guys should check it out.

I watched 24 season 1 the whole way through, had a blast. Never got into the second season (first year of college, no time for tv) same with next two seasons... I'll go back and watch them sometime probably though... Yes, I am this nerdy Stop by and say hello
