Hello.
I need a USB HUB 3.1 with 5 ports, max .
I had a Hama and it works very unreliable.
Your suggestion please for a reliable model ?

I've had good success with the amazon basics brand. I haven't used a 3.1 hub (only a 3.0) but mine is still working after a few years without a problem.

TP-LINK UH720, best usb hub i have used, has 7-ports tho, also 2x charge ports, its active one also.

It's a real crapshoot Mad . It gets worse when you factor in compatibility issues with USB 2 devices. At work we ended up buying 4 different hubs before we found one that actually supported legacy usb 2 - we have a very expensive spectral color measuring device that refuses to work on most USB ports and it gave me a ton of headaches.

Always go for active otherwise you're bound to run in all sorts of issues - especially with stuff like USB 3 hard drives. All the ones we bought were active.
