but guys I'm afraid that if we act this way developers wont release any games anymore because they are clearly driven by emotin adn not by money.
P.s.: If we are lucky apex might end the fortnite trend plunging it into oblivion and with it the epic store.

i do hope apex succeeds.
dunno how many people actually get cosmetics, but that's how fortnite makes cash right? or is it the dances that people pay for?
the current system in apex isn't bad for people who have no desire to buy in game currency to unlock characters, since just leveling up to get the materials to unlock them is fairly quick when playing with friends.

I was a notorious hater of the Steam store from the start - I was usually one of the only people who was anti-Steam in most discussions "because Valve are holy and should not be criticised". These days, the refund policy makes me a little more forgivable but back then, Steam was a joke - games that cost the same or more than physical copies, a really buggy client, no refund policy, extra layer of DRM, no sales, all kinds of technical problems, poor download speeds, etc.
We do need competition but on the other hand, we don't want a market that is too fragmented. Ideally, I'd like two platforms that are comparable. Right now we have Steam, Origin, GOG Galaxy, Uplay, Epic ... did I miss any major ones? And Discord is said to have a platform soon as well. We already had a handful die as well:
Windows Store: I lost several games including Age of Empires III when it closed
Direct2Drive: I lost almost 100 games when it "moved" to Gamefly. Thing is Gamefly only supported a third of the games from Direct2Drive and quite a few of those had broken copy protection. Then a few years later, Gamefly dropped D2D support entirely and all my games disappeared.
And then there was Impulse, Stardock's platform, where I had quite a few games as well. This got bought by Gamespot and suffered the same fate as D2D. All in all, I lost about €500 worth of games.

One can always shift/control click their entire Steam library games and right click install them to the NAS... but yeah an easier way would be nice 
Edit: Hmm actually you can shift click first game and then last game to select em all... Even works with 5000+ games, steam just gets unresponsive for a few seconds

i do it with steam.. but it kinda sucks > i.e select 1 game, select backup, change cd size to 9999gb > select remote location > wait for backup to complete i.e the app sits in the foreground annoyingly from memory.
I tried steamcmd as well, its shit.
selecting numerous games with shift click equates to one massive "archive file" with any number of titles in it you can search on the file-system, well afaik anyway.
Its also good that lgogdownloader will grab all manuals, art, music etc.

So why the fuck they post different stuff on both accounts? Insurance to me means fault tolerance, so post the same video twice. Not different shit on different accounts. It's the ad moneys. It's always money with these fucks.
BTW, my heart goes to poor "creatoers" () that rely on some service on the internets and get bitten because they signed a deal with the devil and now it bites them in the ass.
