One of the perks of living in the middle of nowhere like I do is being allowed to drill a 40m deep well, with a ghetto pump and reasonable purifier I have basically unlimited free water supply 
It's not drinkable (you might get diabeetus or develop a third eye like the Simpsons fish), but its quality is definitely decent for any other domestic use.
