Well, most fat people are so because of poor diet and or too little to no exercise.
And we also know what being fat does to your health in general.
So no, promoting "fat" as being just yet another lifestyle choice, just like liking kale or dyeing your hair blue is not a bright idea.
Also, you can advocate "being fat is not advicable, you should try and fix that by doing A/B/C", while not adding the extra "...you glutonous slob" at the end.
