Besides of looking cool and stuff (RGB though it's from behind), i've heard a bit of mixed reviews of this.
Note that they're on a special sale where i work at for 100€/$ instead of the 115/135/175€ that you can find in 1 shop, a retail and 175€ at Logitech in that order.
Things i've read are that it has good surround and some people says "Mic's crystal clear!" and others "A tiny bit of noise".Perhaps all of this was reviewed 1-2 years ago and now certain drivers fixed the issue (Check vids in the end)?
Comfyness.. Well, i've had 'em on me a couple of times at a shop and they do cover the ears and sound A LOT.. But might be a bit sturdy/hard , though some people says "Put a pillow between 'em and it'll adapt" (Not sure )
One minor worry would be the USB cable connection where they said , depending of the moves you do with the head, even if the cable doesn't unplugs itself, could make a tiny disconnection.. Some people said "Get a braided" cable or put some hard glue on it.
Would it be useful for DL'd MKV movies that allows 7.1 or something, or just games?
What are you guys' opinion?. As for the mic, i've found like 2-3 examples of it but from various dates (all vids goes to the mic test moment) :
1.
2. (French)
3.

I think it's stupid but logitech is always solid. You can turn off the lights.
Their gaming software is great and let's customize lots of stuff. They also make UE headphones which are highly recarded on head-fi. But I have no idea if the same department is doing this

Well in that case i'm stucked again.. I don't plan to use PC headsets for console, but looking for an USB headset with 7.1 and a great mic is gonna be hard
And yes, USB, because last time i've tried an audio jack thing on the PC Tower it didn't worked the mic, only when connected to the MoBo but that's a long way back there.. My actual "home USB Logitech" headset works with the tower's USB ports.
So yeah, stucked again.

Try mentioning 5 headsets around 150 that are NOT the HyperX Cloud that i am reading everywhere and that instantly works with USB cable. Logitech, Steelseries, Razer...
Why these brands and that price?
Because those are the ones in my city and to save myself some shipping extras etc..
You can try checking some we have at certain online stores for reference at

At least people should get smarter and get cheapo ksc75 or koss porta pro like I did... and SpykeZ was right all those years.
That said - gaming headphones with built in microphone can save some trouble... bass will probably be boomy and sound might be muddy but maybe even fun for games in a way. Again -hyperx cloud is at least a revision of REAL headphones which is takstar pro80... not that I think it sounds better than let's say Creative Aurvana Live! but very similar.
I would also avoid any reference or studio marketed headphones. They will not be fun for gaming.
How about sennheiser gaming headsets ?

We don't have gaming Sennheiser at work i think, only home 7.1 stuff that are huge with a Dick Supporter

And hence why we only have reference/trademarked stuff like Logitech etc (Along "Trust").. So far the only thing of Logitech that fucked up on me were 3 mice (One blue and black spider and 2 greyed ones, all with 2 thumb buttons , and reason was due to double click or double spin by 1 mouse wheel move... But they lasted many maaaaany years EACH)
The headset i own is a soft clothed (Now ripped cloth as FUCK) Logitech one, these but the side logo is black instead of white.... And it's +10 years old around. I don't know the exact model i own though
Hope you guys understand it a bit more now of the change.. If i have to buy a rigid cable for those G633 issues so be it, but remember price/quality too (and the MIC and USB)

Well I'm just going to chime in cause the more I read about usb headphones I'm going to have a stroke lol.
USB headphones are going to sound absolutely fucking awful. There's no sound card to it, just a cheap generic good enough little chip that'll get you sound. So even if it is "7.1" it's going to sound thin, tinny and overall shitty.
Why doesn't 7.1 work on your headphones? Simple, there isn't enough space between your ears and the drivers for your ears to fully distinguish where all the different sounds are coming from.
7 drivers in 1 ear cup. That's 7 tiny drivers smaller than your average 1 inch tweeter crammed into one cup (14 total), trying to get ANY good sound out of that is going to be impossible. Not even Sennheiser can pull that off.
Any quality stereo headphone is going to sound more "surround" than any surround sound hurdur gaming headphone, especially if you look at open back headphones, also not having to worry about the cable is a plus because they're easily replaceable. You unplug it, and plug a new one in.
Has a long as fuck cable so you can easily route it in a way that's convenient for you.
Gaming headphones don't last because they're made my companies who don't specialize in audio and use cheap as shit components. Something always breaks and you're going to end up just buying another pair putting you into the same budget spent as the items linked above. Buy the quality stuff now, don't throw your headphones across the room and the amount of time they'll last you keeps on going, and since you're joining the upper audio community, there's always someone who's making aftermarket stuff for popular headphones like replaceable ear cups
If open back isn't your thing and you want sound isolation and more heavy bass there's options there too for closed back headphones. Generally though, open back are the best for gaming as they gave you better sound positioning and imaging.
That's just off the top of my head. I'd have to look at the sources you gave me and I can find you something that'll fit your needs, but trust me, those 7.1 headphones are shit. Even KillerCroc finally listened to me after badgering him for months and he's never turned back.
I've gone through 2 pairs (separate models, but always the at the time 'bestest' wireless gaming headset) And they always broke within a year.
The latest one is awesome in every way, except they randomly turn off, and when booting them, it sometimes takes like 5 minutes, turning them on -> turn off immediately -> retry until they stay on.

SpykeZ - Don't remind me about shp9500... I for hell of it cannot find a pair in Poland and I want one. These idiots are not selling it here.... And it is totally true about price =/= quality. I had few different headphones, like expensive gaming fatal1ty sets and logitech. In comparison even to cheap normal headphones they sounded bad and plastic creaked like in old renault
I had also few more expensive real headphones like brainwavz hm5 which was built like a tank and sounded super clear. It was just reference(so flat) and very sweaty. Main reason why I switched to my fav porta pro is developing a taste for warmer/open/nonsweaty headphones.
Those phillips are very good. head-fi forum loves them. If You can't find it look for some superluxes or takstars like takstar hi2050 which is open and good for gaming. I've also listened to. (and my previous recommendations for CAL!, sennheiser px100ii, koss porta pro still stands).
As for e10k - it is great little "sound card". You can put it on Your desk, have volume knob, bass boost if You want it and have headphone which can take use of it without cliping. And no drivers are needed. Just little audio settings in windows are advised.
I have to run mine of usb pci card because my usb ports are fucked.
edit: Sorry SpykeZ for posting over You... I just have to do it. Who knows when I will ever have a chance to agree with You again

Ok, what about the "Oh so miraculous ,everyone is talking about it, you must have it, you see it on every YT vid to compare who's better and everyone says in the comments-> " HYPERX CLOUD 2" ?.. That has USB Soundcard thingy and 7.1 . We have 'em at work for 99€
...That, or just a Youtuber's perfectly clear audio microphone only that stands on the table that it's superb but at a more affordable price?...Something that sounds great like this guy
