Just read an article about the game:
http://www.pcgamer.com/abz-is-rightly-one-of-e3s-most-talked-about-games/

Some points:
- Very beautiful graphics
- Egyptian aspects
- Interesting exploration

While the title of the article is exaggerated, it really looks beautiful and has nice music.
Seems to be some kind of feel-good-swimming-simulator.

Denuvo must be cheaper than I thought if even the smaller games like this one are starting to use it.

It was always very cheap. Its just that, based on no information at all, reddit and other forums started propagating all of a sudden that denuvo is so fucking expensive, only the chosen ones can afford it. So don't worry, most games will be ok, only a handfull will have it. There was never any info on the price, it was just fabrication that spread.

This month almost every game will be denuvoed, five or six games i believe. We're left with no mans sky and some japanese shovelware that will have cracks.

How much do they ask for this anti-consumer shit? 50K? So.. it's roughly 2k copies if a game is sold at,say, $25.. Perhaps they think they'll get more than what they spent on crapnuvo Laughing

I can't wait for it to be cracked.. The ones who started waging war against consumers must pay.

US presidential candidates must be forced to make a clear statement on DRM. We should vote in a candidate who will declare DRM unconstitutional and "protecting" anything with DRM will be a criminal offense punished by death.

Ah the publisher, yeah that makes sense. Smile

Also going by the Steam community forum discussion the games length seems to be around 3 - 5 hours plus a bit more if you hunt for secrets and such although with a "walking simulator" type game like this it can vary a bit.

EDIT: 2560x1440 with a GeForce 1080 ~ 40 FPS, Unity game?

Also.
(Probably trolling/sarcastic but still...)

Even 40fps in 1440p with a gtx 980 ti would sound horrible. Going to have to buy this game just to make sure.. Very Happy

One wonders what the indie community would say if Steam were to extend the refund period from 2 to 5 hours.. Very Happy (Well even a increase to 3 hours might cause a small uproar I suppose.)
(Or some of the bigger studios too I guess.)

Don't think so,No man and Batman are on GOG....

Denuvo still limited to 64 bit,and a lot of indie still supports 32.... it's been proved that the 'D' can be emulated or if you take Exelab, even cracked... so either stick to Anti-D for now or be further patience... still having my hope for Q4 or in 2017...

I see your posts JackQ.

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

I wouldn't be surprised if they took a cut from each copy sold for indie licencing, instead of flat rate.

i heard about 25% of each copy sold , but that was couple months ago ... 50K seems too little for the D comopany to be able to pay for such highly -skilled devs

While it does look interesting i would never ever buy something like this, so Denuvo just means i will never "play" it.

Well this is an "indie " game which has its own publisher and is heavily marketed by Sony Very Happy Not exactly what i would call indie

interesting that now everyone and their mother seems to know how much denuvo costs for devs and pubs Very Happy aka so many random people with so many conflicting infos on various sites (especially the reddit ... the most trustworthy source of all humanity)

I think there was improvement with the exploit on rin or reddit that you can "reactive" the game once you got ticket from someone...
sometimes, you need to reactive because hardware change or something on your PC...

Not 100% sure, though the sender still limited to 5 tickets per day,at least you just pay 1-3$ and that's it...
