Symptoms:

1. prism like output on DP
2. no output on DP
3. output only via HDMI
4. GPU clockrates seem a bit low for my personal taste.
5. whole PC feels slow (or its displayed slow) mouse "jumps" with lags when moving

First I thought it was the new drivers. And maybe they are... dunno.

TITAN X maxwell: 382.05 from today.

Haaaaa aaaaa aaaa lp. (<--- that's my user experience right now)

Your GPU is shit. Get an upgrade. It's not even enough to display your desktop properly FFS.

I was going to ask you to see if a earlier driver helped but if the issue persists in the boot screen and bios that's obviously not the problem and it's something with the card itself.

There are a few reported issues with Win10 Creators and Nvidia but the 382.xx drivers seem to be slowly fixing them whether it's the control panel, icc profiles or general crashes.

got a spare old empty hard drive? disconnect all your current drives, just plug that in and install a fresh clean windows and have a look whats happening

or just connect a single monitor and test the output in the bios? if it doenst work or looks like shit too the card is dying. as i said only a single display, if you connect multiple ones it will only display the content maybe on the dvi one or dp. dunno which one is the primary port of that card

most likely not, but maybe it just broke now. dunno, but the cable is the first thing i would try. i assume you dont have another dp display in the attic to test that?!?

aaaaaaaaaand: have you tried turning it off and on again? Very Happy thats not even a joke, completely poweroff the display (aka strom raus komplett) and touch the power button a few times and plug it in again

Still strange, since I never witnessed a cable "stop working".

Now you did.
