Got some ram at christmas, 512ddrpc2700

since its been put in, my screen goes black for a few seconds every now and again, ive noticed it happens (among other times) when im moving the scroll bar in iTunes up and down

Any ideas why this is happening?

Cheers in advance

hhmm, sometimes my computer does this once every 2 days... I will be browsing the net then the screen goes off and I think "FFS why is it restarting" then the screen just pops back on after 2 seconds Smile

Dont see why this would be a RAM problem, I would suggest opening her up and checking your AGP card for a loose connection.

:: Edit

Unless of course your GFX card is onboard or shares system RAM??

Well first thing i would do is to remove the ram you bought at christmas and observe if this solves your problems.

Or if it's not that, it's probably your monitor or graphics card.
