Took the tip "set power settings to high performance" and we`ll see. It seems like a W10 issue, it did start when i upgraded indeed.

So, i figured it out. Had nothing to do with my pc but was an effect of running the audio through the TV. So i'll connect my ps4 directly to my soundbar but i now need to connect audio only to the SB via hdmi. I have a 1060 with two hdmi ports, can i run video through one and audio on the other? If so, how and where do i find those settings?

You should be able to select the default audio playback device in Windows, but at the moment it is not possible to run HDMI with audio only from PC. That means that you will have a "ghost" desktop on your PC if you try to use HDMI audio without a display showing that output.
That said, as far as I understand soundbars with HDMI ports act as AV receivers. That is: you connect HDMI audio and video to it, and pass it through to the TV. If you connect it that way, your TV will act as a second monitor and you will have the option to use audio from your PC, the soundbar or your TV.
