Recordings need to be really clear and... I don't know what else. I've only ever bought shitty mics!

I was thinking about this:

https://www.pccasegear.com/products/27509/audio-technica-at2020usb-usb-recording-microphone

I want to try and keep it under $250 if possible

Thanks

The Blue Yeti is the one all streamers use, it has the best reputation.

The first day I started using this I went to all different parts of the house. I sat in my wife's mothers car, my old car, in my PC/gaming room, trying to get th recordings to sound good. For about 6hrs I was recording line and after line in these places. Nothing worked.

It turns out I hadn't swapped the recording device in settings in Adobe Audition so the entire time it was recording from the inbuilt mic on the laptop

It was extremely clear once I switched it over. And this is why I am a retard.
