I bought the one i suggested (Blue Microphone Snowball) with : Blue Microphones Ringer Custom Shockmount, RØDE PSA1 Swivel Mount Studio Microphone Boom Arm and a Wanway MU-7 Microphone Swivel Pop Filter.

shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.
The first day I started using this I went to all different parts of the house. I sat in my wife's mothers car, my old car, in my PC/gaming room, trying to get th recordings to sound good. For about 6hrs I was recording line and after line in these places. Nothing worked.
It turns out I hadn't swapped the recording device in settings in Adobe Audition so the entire time it was recording from the inbuilt mic on the laptop
It was extremely clear once I switched it over. And this is why I am a retard.
