James Buckley plays Brian Weaver, an online data marketing assistant who finds himself abruptly transported to a parallel world, a place of bizarre creatures, magical forces and psychopathic Fairies. Aided by Barbara (a soothsayer of questionable ability), Steg (an armchair revolutionary) and Howell (a deranged wizard), Zapped! follows Brian's adventures as he tries to cope with his new life in an extraordinary place and the unpredictable behaviour of the locals. Will he ever get home? Or does he have a higher purpose, a deeper reason for being brought here? And can he ever explain the concept of ‘Storage Hunters’ to his companions?
