Just saw this drama-comedy posing as a documentary, where a bunch of people with impressive Ph.D's talk about things mostly out of their expertise, one of them claiming to be a 35.000 year old Atlantean - or an indian (from India, not a native american) chiropractor who claim to know a lot about quantum physics (in fact, they all claim this is all about quantum physics).
Then someone edits these interviews together with B-movie acting, and try to formulate some bullshit story that could've been sold as a "Motivational Tape" sold at flea-markets for 5$ - full of pseudo-intellectual quasi-philosophy.
I was very frustrated with this, it's probably really popular among people that need a substitute (a religion, a piece of chocolate, or whatever) for something.
What's really disgusting is how they blend together pure fiction (blatant lies) with reality. There's (to paraphraze something said in the movie) just a thin layer of truth masking a really huge ball of lies and bullshit.
Actually, it made me think of Michael Moore's propaganda.
Yes, yes I'm back.
Somewhat.
