Nah, I moved on to free weights finally in the gym, after like... 2 years Razz

I'm very accident prone so I avoided anything non machine aided stuff like cancer Smile (got my first accidental injury already, but it was minor Smile )

But yea... I got bad muscle pains immediately -> I obviously thought it's just the stabilizing muscles getting work which do not get it when using machines.

But... the pain does not go away at all with rest (had a week break or so) and now if I do curls with 30+ kg it feels like the arm is breaking from between wrist and elbow.

It's similar to what a lot of people get when they start running; 'Shinsplits' or something. The contracting muscle is blocking the blood flow or something in the area and can cause nasty things. (I used to have shinsplits as teenager and back in the military, made long marches a nightmare)
