Official Site: http://www.landofthedeadmovie.net/
IMDb: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0418819/
Trailer: http://movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hv&cf=trailer&id=1808405693&intl=us

Premise: "In a modern-day world where the walking dead roam an uninhabited wasteland, the living try to lead "normal" lives behind the walls of a fortified city. A new society has been built by a handful of enterprising, ruthless opportunists, who live in the towers of a skyscraper, high above the hard-scrabble existence on the streets below. But outside the city walls, an army of the dead is evolving. Inside, anarchy is on the rise. With the very survival of the city at stake, a group of hardened mercenaries is called into action to protect the living from an army of the dead."

The fourth film in George A. Romero's Dead series, following Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, and Day of the Dead.

So ... anyone else looking forward to this as much as I am? Smile

A part of the plot kind of reminds me of Army of Darkness. Atleast the invasion part except its not the dead invading a castle this time. Its the dead invading a city. I believe that theres this huge wall barrier like in that movie Resident Evil Apocalypse where they seal off the town. And outside is a huge army of the undead. And I suppose the whole world is whiped out because its a wasteland, or only certain parts of it? It seems like the acting will carry this movie.

About Hitman: Movie (2007)
Vin Diesel is a hardcore gamer, and absolutely loves the Hitman series. For that reason I have faith that he wont destroy the movie.

Response: Well, Uwe Boll probably loved the Alone in the Dark games.

Day of the Dead anyone? Remember a lot of people were disappointed when it came out. But now it's a cult classic.

"... Of The Dead" series is a cult classic, not a certain movie.

So you're saying this won't be a cult classic but the "...Of The Dead" series is and this is part of the series. Doesn't make sense.

Well people wont go like saying "Hey Land Of The Dead is a cult classic" because it won't be, "... Of The Dead" are the classics not the certain movies like "Day Of The Dead" or "Dawn Of The Dead" etc... It's more like a cult series...

Griffon I think you should see "Land of the Dead" before you judge it like that. Shaun of the Dead became cult right after it was out, the same with "the Boondock Saints", "Big Lebowski", "Fargo" etc.

If the movie suck then it won't be a cult movie, no one will watch it.

What I meant is that a movie may suck when compared to other movies in its genre. Like kevin-smith movies. They suck. But people love them. And they became cult-classics Crying or Very sad
