I've been getting these really annoying headaches behind my right eye, and my sight has been decreasing in the last years. I just noticed now that with certain fonts and background color i see the text double with my right eye. It's bellow the original text and a little to the right. No clue how long i've had this, but i just noticed it now :/ I'm sure i need to visit some eye doctor and check it out anyway.

Well, pain in that area might mean increased pressure in the eye. And that's one of the risk factors behind glaucoma for example. I'd visit an eye doctor as soon as possible.

The headache like pain behind the eye is something i've had for over 10 years, so i'm unsure if it's something really bad. Though the sight getting slightly worse is newer. I'll try to get an appointment with someone. Not sure if it's best to contact my doctor or a optician for this though. Optician will probably fleece me, so i guess i'll go with the doctor.

Holy shit. So much of that glucoma thing is similar to what i've had almost my entire life. Never thought of it as problems though. Such as halos around light sources.. Always found it peculiar, but never thought it might be something bad. The headaches and stuff though is something i thought i just needed glasses for. Well, we'll see what the doctor says when he starts diagnosing. Might be something else entirely.

halos and headaches on one side (particulary behind the eyes), isn't it migraine? I think it fits.
For glaucoma I think you lose peripheral vision first, and it would probably be related to some eyedrops, do you use any regularly? Or maybe some nose spray... if you're not taking such medicine, glaucoma is highly unlikely.

Doubt it's migraine though as normal painkillers work. Isn't migraines supposed to be much, much worse than headaches? and i'm not taking any medication so if it's definitely not glaucoma then it's pretty good news. I should still check out my eyes just to be sure that there isn't anything else. I'm pretty sure the headache thing and the double vision should be checked out if nothing else.

Im neuro(but surgeon).
Headaches and sight decreasing.
Can be anything or all.
Just go see a doctor.
We should not discuss individual medical problems this way.
Thats the reason doctors exist.
You need a complete anamnesis (clinical history, age, habits, with pain features, etc...) , physical examination and probably an ophthalmologic exam. You can look for a general doctor or go direct to a specialist (neurologist or ophthalmo).
Most commom cause of chronic headache is called chronic diary headache, and its more related to bad habits, stress, analgesic abuse, ... but as I said , I cant say too much.

For all i knew it might have been something really obvious which someone might have pointed out easily, which is why i asked. Well, i hope a pair of reading glasses or something will be all that's needed.

Well, if it did, then i would have become blind on both eyes a long time ago! Anyway, my appointment with the physician is in 9 days and was his earliest opening. Fuck that.. I'm going to cancel it. I got a eye health check tomorrow at some store chain where i can test my eyes and can talk to an eye specialist somethingsomething. It costs a pretty penny, but i don't have to wait 9 days.

It's actually pretty bad when it comes to public crap or whatever you call it.. They get you in quickly only if it's an emergency
