That's great!..... Is what i wanted to say, but that style is fucking shit. Can't they drop that shitty 3d style already?! Movies were garbage in big part because of that.

I could look up the summary and such on e.g BakaBT (Or just anidb or whatever.) but as I remember it the first "Berserk" TV series all those years ago mostly followed the initial first arc of the original comic / manga and then ended after that first ark conclusion.
The movies / OVA's if I remember it right are a summary of the series and first ark though with some new stuff and you can see how small Griffith's penis is in one scene.
(Actually surprised nudity somehow ended up not being censored out due to the strict laws about such stuff in well most of their media AFAIK.)
No idea where the manga is currently, at least the original Japanese one since it began back in the 80's somewhere and might still be going, English fan-translation groups had something like the first 36 chapters or some such when last I checked many months back (A few thousand pages I believe.) but it's been pretty slow so it could be months or even years behind the Japanese original or how to say.
Seems like no one is much of a fan of the 3d/2d look. I know I'm not. I thought the 3rd movie looked pretty good in some parts but it doesn't even hold a candle to good 2d animation. Kind of a waste when you consider the source material.
24 episodes for the current "Season",Confrimed to cover "Black Swordsman" Arc,I personally think it will cover Lost children as well cuz characters like Farnese will also appear.

Yup, but slightly more accurate to the source material than the anime. And yet, they still left out tons of shit. And then there is some stuff the anime had, which the movies didn't.
I recommend both the Anime and the movies nonetheless.
Not the biggest fan of the CGI but... as long as they keep staying true to the source material, I'll cope. It's friggin Berserk and finally not the Golden Age Arc.. so yay can't wait for the next EP
