Arc System Works has announced Double Dragon IV for PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam. It will launch worldwide on January 30, 2017. In Japan, it will cost 800 yen.
The latest entry in the legendary side-scrolling action game series Double Dragon uses the same 80s visual style, but adds various new elements. Additionally, every mode can be played by two players at the same time. The story picks up after the elimination of the Shadow Warriors in Double Dragon II.
The game features the original staff of the arcade version of Double Dragon, including producer Takaomi Kaneko, director Yoshihisa Kishimoto, character designer Koji Ogata, composer Kazunaka Yamane, and programmer Kei Oyama.
As much as I loved the original, it just looks too cheap of a game for me... graphically speakign at least..
Even gearbox did more efforts to the duke nukem 3D 2016 port IMO (and they heavily got criticized for this cheap port even though they added new content)...
