I have bought a new PC for gaming & media. The gaming part is largely sorted, now for the media.
Is Plex going to be my best bet for everything? I did use it once a couple of years ago but it was only for streaming a single video. Before that, the only sort of media center I had was the one on my modded Xbox, but this was almost a decade ago. I need something that's going to be able to sort though 100's of gigabytes of video in a nice interface (nice cover art and so on).
I'm guessing XMBC is the only other real alternative as most places seem to mention it alongside Plex
worth looking at emby,i have been playing with it recently and it seems (inital impressions) ok.
