Looks less interesting that I thought it would before I clicked. Will still most definitely check it out.
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."

I just can't stand the voice acting, especially hers. So yet another game from them I will need to skip. Wish they could go for decent voice actors. :/

A mute voices option would be the least they could do

If this is an AGS adventure game then they always have different sliders to mute voice/sound/music.
1 and 2 are still amazing.

Good news. I really like their games.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

Someone worked hard on that game and then decided to give it away for free. It's well within their right to stop selling it or start charging for it. You should be happy you got it for free in the first place and they didn't charge for it right away like 99% of developers do.

In case you were wondering guys, it's not possible to "mute" the voices (only sounds and music), but on the bright side, they're really not that bad. The trailer gives a wrong impression in my opinion (the female protagonist is a bit dorky, though not too annoying).
Have just started it (along with Dex) to ride the cyberpunk wave and alternate it to the fantasy Witchery, and so far it's great, as per tradition.
There's a fantastic atmosphere and puzzles are more than okay, not too abstruse and some of them are based on the Trance/alternate VR gameplay mechanic which is definitely interesting^^

Well I know it will be bad for me, since they use the same people for the voices (well isn't it they themselves who are doing it? Always thought that). That being said even if muting voice overs was in I'd still complain on them for not getting better VA. It adds a lot to a game, I don't need professionals... just someone with a better voice than her would suffice.
I know, some people dislike me whining on them... but I wouldn't whine if I thought the games were bad/mediocre.

Haha don't get me wrong, I agree! They always keep resorting on their internal resources (plus fans too for the very minor roles); it would be great for once to experience some professional(ish) work when it comes to that, for the perfect package.
I think you should still give it a try, the cheesiness has been kept to tolerable levels in my opinion with believable voices, even though there will probably be some I spill my drink! moments later on xD

Hello children, I found out how to mute the voiceovers but keep the music/sfx active! Go to the game folder, double click on winsetup.exe -> click on advanced -> uncheck "use voice pack if available".
Press save and run. Voila
1 and 2 are still amazing.

I completed a puzzle by accident and I'm wondering what the real solution was.
Spoiler: | In the trance den, you have to get all other users to log off from the server. After I discovered the country lock feature, I just clicked on Russia as a first choice and afterwards the dancers were gone. How do you find out that they're from Russia? |

Spoiler: | When you talk to CaptainChese969 in the bar, you have the option of asking her about the dancers up top. She mentions it's related to the victory of a team in a sports game.
Open up the news. Check in the sports section to see that Russia is the winner in the Hockey match. |
1 and 2 are still amazing.

Thanks.
Great game by the way. Glad to see Wadjet Eye thrive in their niche.
