So I bought some games on sale.
Steam says there was something wrong with the transaction.
So I goto my Bank Account and see the money pulled but Steam says
the transaction didnt go through.
I can clearly see the money pulled from my account.

But who do I contact for this problem ?
Steam has my money.

Thanks.

So you use a program, sink money into it, but have no clue how to use the program you just sunk money into?! Time to evaluate your priorities on what comes first, education or gaming.... Facepalm

Nope, your response was rather twat'ish. And if you are going to lash out... the least you could have done was to try to educate/help them. Smile

What you did doesn't help and it creates a rather crappy environment where someone new wouldn't dare to ask a thing.

No its true, but if you are not fluent in English is an easy mistake to make. It was certainly understandable

Give the guy a break it is possible English is not his first language, it is also blatantly obvious what his problem is and what help he was asking for.

Having said that, I wish him well contacting Steam. They are not the best when it comes to customer support <<<<< British understatement...

Sometimes a charge may have been made, then broken because of some issue, then it can take a couple of days before the recharge is registered. But contact your bank as well and ask what they can see.

Hi everyone.

Yes English isnt my first language. Sorry.
This is the first time in many years Ive had Steam that Ive had this problem.

One person says to wait a few days to see where the money ends up.
In my bank account it says held for Steam, so I thought Steam has the money.

So I will wait I guess.
Thanks for the help.

Yeah people don't seem to understand the concept of knowing something before you sink money into it.
Just doesn't make any logical sense why you would sink money into something if you don't even know what to do or who to contact when things go wrong, it's just a really dumb thing to do IMO.
Yeah I should had worded it different maybe, maybe I shouldn't. Sometimes being harsh is the best way to teach someone.

You should apply that to yourself sometime. Perhaps you'd be a more sympathetic person.

The money should be back in your account after the weekend. It happens on a lot of stores. Steam sends verification to bank, bank releases money, issue on steam's end. Steam declines fund transfer and the money will end back up in your bank. It's just in a current loop. So maybe by Monday you'll see your money refunded. Sometimes a little longer.

Some banks "hold" that money for 5 business days just to make sure everything ends up working out without issue. None the less, it's just in a loop and I wouldn't sweat it.

Had this happen with Newegg, Amazon, paypal and a few other sites. My money always showed back up after I think like 3 days.

Dunno why people had to go and insult you instead of using less energy and just explaining how that works.
