US release was today, after about 2 years of sitting on their asses they finally released it!
Excellent movie, go buy it if you can.

This feels unnecessary, as per the common 202X TV/Hollyboo tradition to play the desperate random resurrection card. We'll see I guess. The original movie was genuinely great, though

Mildly interested.
I would have thought "Tropa de elite" made for a more serialisable format. Or maybe I just wanna more of it, where “Cidade de Deus” feels more like a (already very well told) finished story
