There was a bug with Magic Actions and Theatre Mode on YT, it has been fixed so now so make sure your MA is updated. The latest is 6.8.7.5 and this fixes the broken AR and off-screen crap that was happening.

It was the April 29 update. I'm not entirely sure if it has been pushed to FF yet though.

Aye, that's the same as mine (though I changed the colour to a solid black in Cinema Mode) - and I'm not happy about the removal of fullscreen/expand buttons in Cinema Mode.
I don't know what to recommend Madness mate, it works just fine here after the update at the weekend.

Could be that's your answer.. Google/YT changed "something" a few days ago and it caused MA to screw up in the same manner as above; broken AR, dead space, even spanning the video off the screen on the right. They put out an update that fixes it.. but perhaps whatever tool you're using hasn't yet been updated the same way?
Oh and you can right-click the edges to switch to a "full browser window" view too, though why you'd want that, I don't know.
