As most of you guessed it was april fools... but I WAS actually caught smuggeling, not on the border, but at customs in Sandefjord after a regular trip to Sweden. I normally take the ferry from Norway to Sweden, into EU countries the limit is higher, but everything was booked so I drove around and took the ferry back home to Norway... and easter time is party time, so lots of customs checking cars driving off the ferry... including me. Norway is not a member of EU so the limit is very small. 1L vodka, 4L wine, 2L beer. So these trips are very regular for a lot of Norwegians. Anyways, ended up with a small fine This is what I get for helping Sweedish economy
