In Poland it's only ~70% this time, pity... I remember a near full eclipse visible from my town in 1999 - that was something. And the weather was great, middle of summer, no clouds etc.

The clouds literally parted for enough time for me to see it in SW Scotland, which I thought was nice
Quite impressive, but I didn't have a good enough camera to take any shots sadly. Would have loved to have been at the Faeroe Islands, the blackout there was most impressive.

Already saw the 1999 total eclipse (the middle of the full shadow passed right over our town), so I'm not too bummed about this, but damn, we spent the whole time freezing our asses off next to the Serpentine, watching the surroundings go a bit dimmer, then bright again over the course of the eclipse. Still had a good time, but could have been awesome instead of just good. :/

The night is dark and the road is long. Come on dead men, return to your homes.
