tested about 10 programs, some were shit, some full of crap/adds/malware/toolbars whatever.
anyone knows a good verifyed program which rip youtube, including playlist ? interested in making mp3 from them so only sounds, not video.

I think JDownloader could do that at some point... maybe the mp3 part not anymore. I know it could download whole playlists.

Video DownloadHelper addon for Firefox works great, but I don't know about playlists.

For manual downloads, I use savefrom.net.
Change youtube.com domain to ssyoutube.com in YouTube URL to download videos via savefrom.net site.
For example
"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXiFjPGwmNo"
to
"http://ssyoutube.com/watch?v=DXiFjPGwmNo"

Since a few days ago Youtube updated their page's system again and now my "Easy youtube video downloader" failed on me again,not updated and worst case is that lately it didn't let me download MP3s or 1080p vids of whatever i watched..
Note that there was a button next to the video's description to download such stuff etc
The thing is... Is there a BETTER substittute for this, integrated within the youtube's system under the vids to download all quality EVEN MP3 AND ALL QUALITIES,INCLUDING1080p ?

Doesn't WhiteBarbarian's suggestion work fine for you? You just add "ss" behind the youtube in the URL.
For heavy duty ripping I use 4k youtube downloader.
