|
 |
Its seems stupid iCrapple has cornered the market for earbuds but whats available for Android for fricks' sake?
I hear the Klipsch Image S4A or anything from Klipsch for Android is the best but I need Android Earbuds that can do the following:
Volume (Raise/Lower)
Track (Advance/Back)
Play (Pause/Resume)
Call (Answer/Hang up)
I want earbuds just so that the sound is directed into the lobes. I do not love showcasing to the universe massive headphones.
Its hard to find anything that can do the above even in 2014.. WTF!
Its pretty frick'n galling how everything seems to be Apple-centric for earbuds meanwhile Android commands a massive chunk of the market across the world and yet this kind of shat happens where choice here is lacking!
Any direction here would be appreciated!

Thanks gents! Good suggestions..
Yeah my range is between $50-500.
Basically I want earbuds for Android that have the same "functionality" as all those Apple ones. Quality of the sound output is important of course but having all the functions on the earbud's console while the phone is in my pocket is critical.
Yeah saw the Xiaomi Pistons 2.0 MK301.. real cheap! $25... seriously? Seems wayy too good to be true.
re: Thinksound MS01-Gunchoc In-Ear Monitor Headphone with Passive Noise Isolation - for $120 seems quite reasonable but is there an Android app for it which allows for those functionalities I listed above?
Klipsch S4a(II) still seems king for Android and it may hold the customizations I need.
Edit: Klipsch R6m just came out and looks rather interesting. $185 but reviews seem iffy-ish.

50-500 << really? for the time they are usually in ones ears seems an awful waste of money.
Spoiler: | seriously you would pay up to 500 quid for some earphones for a phone |

Well, keep in mind the audio chips in phones aren't exactly stellar so your source may be lossless but the chip is still crap. I wouldn't go spending TOO much money unless you can use them elsewhere. I'd stick with the S4

Yeah the Klipsch S4a(II) at < $100 or R6m ~$185 (but reviews seem so-so as its so new) seems to be the way to go especially since its made for Android, good reviews, app support, etc..
Yer all right: this will be only for latest Android phones or high-end laptop and not some $500+ home theater Receiver or recording studio. I do voice sampling though on my laptop so this will likely be used there also but, again, limited to the audio chipset.

Go for the Xiaomi pistons, they're getting pretty favorable reviews.

Hmmm but they are sooo.. frick'n.. cheap..
Catch? Seems much too good to be true.
Also, need to know if they have all the earbud console functionality I am seeking.
I'll do some more research. Thank you kindly!

The Pistons are getting some good reviews indeed, seems like they're a bargain at twice the price. |
i think i got the 2.1 but there shouldn't be that much difference.
what i love most about them ... sound and packaging aside ... are those silicon earbud thingys.
every inear headphone i had until now was only fitting when really pressing it hard into my ear.
chewing something? and out it goes. talking? out again. yawn? they're out!
Spoiler: | |
with those it does not happen. but then again u can probably buy them for every inear headphone...
